Lecture Series Grants

Academic institutions in Eastern and Central Europe, Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia are invited to apply, individually or collaboratively, for funding from the Foundation under the newly created Lecture Series program (CCK Lecture Series). These grants will support lectures by distinguished scholars at the sponsoring institutions. It is expected that six or more lectures open to the public will be held as a part of a series, with the duration of each project lasting from one to three years. The Foundation requires that their contents must be published. Lecture Series Grants cover transportation costs, honoraria, and stipends for all invited lecturers, but not publication costs. In special cases, costs for promotion and some travel expenses for out-of-town students may be considered. The maximum amount of each grant is US$15,000. Priority will be given to collaborative projects involving institutions in Taiwan. Projects on Taiwan Studies are especially encouraged.
