Ms. Isabelle Feng, Scientific Associate at the Perelman Center for Legal Philosophy, Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium, visited the Foundation on November 3, 2026, and was welcomed by President Chun-i Chen. Ms. Feng holds a Master’s degree in Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Université Paris Dauphine. Her research interests include China’s economy and foreign policy. She also serves as Vice-President of the Asia Centre, an independent think tank based in Paris.
During the meeting, President Chen sought Ms. Feng’s insights into the historical development of Sinological studies in the French-speaking world, as well as the latest developments and leading scholars in the field. Ms. Feng observed that France has a long and distinguished tradition of Sinological scholarship and remains one of Europe’s leading centers for research in this field. The two parties also exchanged views on the current landscape and emerging developments in Sinological research across Europe.
